Congress Gala (Banquet) – Final Details & FAQs

Updated: Apr 21

We’re looking forward to a wonderful evening together at the Congress Gala and are excited to welcome all registered attendees with a ticket purchased!

When and where is the Gala taking place?

  • The Gala will begin at 6:45 PM on Saturday, April 25 in Exhibit Hall A (Plenary Room)

  • As of 6:15 PM, you are welcome to:

    • Check in at the Gala registration desk

    • Enter Ballrooms B–C for pre-gala networking and mingling

    • Enjoy cash bars and cocktail tables to connect with colleagues

From Ballrooms B–C, you will enter the Plenary Room directly when doors officially open for the Gala.

Can I still purchase a Gala (Banquet) ticket?

  • No—Gala tickets are now closed and no longer available for purchase.

  • Ticket sales closed 10 days prior to the event as we were required to confirm final numbers with the venue for plated meal service.

  • Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate additional ticket purchases onsite or after the deadline.

I have a ticket—what do I need to do when I arrive?

All attendees must check in at the Gala (Banquet) registration desk before entering the event.

  • Entry will only be permitted to those who have checked in

  • No ticket purchases or changes can be made onsite

What is being served for the Gala dinner?

We’re pleased to offer a thoughtfully curated menu with as many dietary considerations accommodated as possible:

Salad

UP vertical farm greens

Roasted corn, heirloom tomatoes, shaved radish, carrots, nutritional yeast, seasonal berries

Citrus vinaigrette

Vegan (ve), gluten-free (gf)

Main Course

Herb and garlic marinated free-range chicken breast

Roasted baby potatoes, broccoli, baby carrots, local mushrooms, grainy mustard jus

Gluten-free (gf), dairy-free (df)

Dessert

Decadent flourless chocolate cake

Dark chocolate, espresso

Vegetarian (v), gluten-free (gf)

What if I indicated that I require a vegan, vegetarian, or requested halal option?

We have done our best to select meal options that support the vast majority of dietary restrictions. If you indicated one of the following dietary restrictions or preferences in advance: Halal, vegan, or vegetarian, then:

  • A name card with your name and dietary requirement will be prepared for you

  • This card must be picked up at the Gala registration desk upon check-in

  • Please place the card at your seat so banquet staff can identify and serve your meal accordingly

If you have any questions onsite, our team will be happy to assist you.

We’re looking forward to an incredible evening with you all!
