Day 1 of the Congress is only 50 days away!

Get ready to Join colleagues from around the world for five inspiring days of education, collaboration, and innovation in wound, ostomy, and continence care.


Day 1 - Friday, April 24th, 2026


9AM-12PM


The day will start with your choice of 10 Educational Workshops. These in-depth sessions will be covering key wound, ostomy, and continence topics.



These Workshops are free to attend, but spaces are limited and must be added during registration to reserve your spot. Some workshops are already at capacity, however you may add your name to the waitlist.


Please note:


  1. Workshops are filled on a first-come, first-served basis

  2. Adding a workshop during registration is the only way to confirm your spot

  3. If you have already registered for the Congress and forgot to add a workshop, please email administration@nswoc.ca with your workshop or waitlist request

  2. Beyond the Bandage: Enhancing Limb Health Through Compression


Even though both Tuesday workshops are full, you can still attend all keynote and concurrent sessions that morning.

12PM-1PM


Nourish your brain while you nourish your belly during a Sponsored Educational Lunch for all registered attendees, titled:


“Your expert role in advancing preventive stoma care: Evidence-based risk assessment and preventive thinking enables you to get it right the first time"

Presented by David Voegeli, PhD, BSc, RN. Professor of Nursing University of Winchester, UK, and Terri Porrett, PhD, MSc, RN, Strategic Project Manager, Coloplast Ltd, UK.


Lunch will be taking place in the plenary room and provided courtesy of Coloplast, allowing you to relax, refuel, and enjoy lunch while attending the session. A big thanks to Coloplast for their generous support.


1PM-5PM


Post meal we will head into your choice of 8 Industry and Science Day Sessions that will be located across East Meeting Rooms 1, 2, and 3.

These sessions feature:


  • New scientific insights and emerging evidence

  • Launch of innovative, evidence-backed products

  • Real-world clinical applications and case studies

  • Industry-driven advancements in wound, ostomy, and continence care



5:30PM-6:30PM


We will meet in the plenary room for the Parade of Nations, where we will be welcoming and celebrating delegates from every country represented at the Congress.


6:30PM-8:30PM


Following the Parade of Nations we will conclude the days activities with the official kickoff of Congress and the opening of  the Exhibit Hall and Poster Library.


This will be the largest Exhibit hall we have ever hosted, with over 200 scientific posters from authors all around the world on display. We will have Industry members and exhibit booths representing the wound, ostomy and continence sectors, showcasing innovative products, technologies, and clinical solutions.


We will also be serving complimentary canapés, and have beverages available for purchase.


We can't wait to share 5 days of inspiration, education and connection with you all.
