Call for Abstracts Deadline Extended – Submit by October 31, 2025 for the WCET®-NSWOCC® Joint Congress

We are pleased to announce that the deadline for abstract submissions has been extended to October 31, 2025 for the WCET®-NSWOCC® Joint Congress, to be held April 24–28, 2026 at the Vancouver Convention Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia.
This international congress will convene healthcare professionals, educators, researchers, and leaders in wound, ostomy, and continence (WOC) care from across the globe. The event will serve as a platform for the exchange of knowledge, the dissemination of best practices, and the advancement of innovation in clinical practice, education, and leadership.
Call for Abstracts
The Scientific Committee invites submissions for oral and poster presentations. We welcome abstracts addressing a broad range of topics, including but not limited to:
Evidence-based approaches to wound prevention and management
Innovations in ostomy care and patient support
Advances in continence care and quality of life
Leadership, education, and interprofessional collaboration in WOC practice
Whether you are presenting original research, quality improvement initiatives, clinical innovations, or educational strategies, this is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the global dialogue on improving patient outcomes.
Submission Guidelines at a Glance
Deadline: October 31, 2025
Abstract length: 200–300 words (English, excluding references)
Submission method: Online only (email submissions will not be accepted)
Authors: Up to six (6) authors per abstract
Industry submissions: Poster presentations only (maximum seven per company, using generic product names)
Oral Presentations:
Presented using a PowerPoint template provided by the Congress
Slides must be in English
Final presentations due by January 10, 2026
Poster Presentations:
Size: A0 (portrait orientation, 4 ft x 8 ft / 1.2192 m x 2.4384 m)
Language: English
